Sick Child Visits
We make every effort to schedule appointments for ill children on the day that you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so that we can minimize the time that you will spend waiting. If you would like us to see more than 1 child, please schedule this when you make your initial appointment.
If you have a minor emergency during office hours, please call and we will diligently work to insure that your child is seen by the Doctor as quickly as possible. Minor emergencies include asthma flares, lacerations, sprains and possible broken bones.
Major emergencies are optimally directed to the Emergency Room.

When you hang up, Dr. Schwartz will be paged and notified to retrieve your message. He will then call you back to discuss the issue and decide on a plan for care.
Emergencies
If an emergency should arise, please call 911. Emergencies are considered to be those conditions that are life-threatening: loss of consciousness, severe bleeding, seizure, etc.
In the case of minor emergencies (lacerations, cuts, mild fractures, sprains), please call our office first and we will strive to work you into the schedule as expeditiously as possible to help you avoid an expensive ER visit.
